OpenAi’s chatbot app store is off to a slow start
OpenAI hoped developers would tap into its artificial intelligence to create and sell their own conversational AI apps to ChatGPT customers. Four months after Altman announced the GPT Store, however, some developers who offer chatbots through it say they have been disappointed by the lack of customers for their products. They say they've gotten little support from OpenAI in terms of analytics about their users. OpenAI also limits access to the store to paying customers of ChatGPT and hasn't allowed the developers to charge money for their apps yet.
Google adds ratings to go with its new AI tools for shoppers
Now, shoppers using Google’s mobile website or apps can refine their searches with tools designed to help them narrow down exactly what kind of jacket or other item they’re looking for. The Style Recommendations feature is rolling out now for signed-in shoppers in the US, and it lets users rate items in their searches so it can pick up on their preferences, kind of like Tinder or Netflix ratings, but with shirts.

Spotify tests video courses to teach everything from music production to Excel
Starting with a rollout in the U.K., Spotify is testing the waters for an online education offering of freemium video courses. Produced in partnership with third parties like the BBC and Skillshare, at least two lessons will be free, with the cost of a total course ranging from £20 to £80 on average. The prices will be the same, regardless of whether you are a basic or premium user, at least for now.
Amazon One launches an app to make sign-up for its palm-recognition service even easier
The new Amazon One app lets customers sign up for the service by simply taking a photo of their palm, making the in-store experience seamless even for first-time users. Until today, customers had to visit a physical location to hover their palm over an Amazon One device to sign up for the service. Now, they can sign up for Amazon One with the app.
